It ranks at the top of the hottest trends every season. This is not surprising. Denim is an extremely graceful and inspiring material, which designers use to create ever new variations on the theme of various items of clothing, obviously with trousers at the forefront. They experiment, but also like to refer to what has already been in fashion and has clearly proven its worth. This is the case with Reserved's latest collection for spring-summer 2024, which is fresh and full of reliable cuts and original shades.
The SS24 season represents a completely new phase for women's denim at Reserved. And these changes can be seen on many levels. The designers responsible for the women's department have introduced changes in colours, cuts, but also in the quality of the assortment. The trouser range has been expanded to include baggy, cargo models, or those with a super-trendy wide leg, offered in, among other things, equally fashionable 'soiled' washes with a yellowed or pinked effect. This season in Reserved there will be a wide range of denim jackets from ramon jackets to shirt jackets to oversize catanas. There has also been a lot of focus on the theme of skirts, especially maxi length skirts, available in patchwork, among others. As far as details are concerned, asymmetrical cuts and raw finishes draw attention. So there is a bit of classic and nonchalance and, above all, an opportunity to play with denim looks.
The menswear collection takes a similar approach. After last season's more relaxed denim look, SS24 features a wide variety of cuts and colours. Alongside the classic fits that form the basis of the collection, such as slim, carrot and regular in timeless shades, there are also looser cuts of trousers, such as loose, baggy and carpenter. There is a lot of "dirty wash" here, which, due to its unique character, is an enduring and constantly reinterpreted trend. The men's collection for this season also features innovations on the upper garments. A katana with cargo pockets, a bomber-style hooded jacket, colourful shackets or blue shirts are just a glimpse of what Reserved's designers are proposing for spring and summer 2024.
The Reserved Denim collection for children was designed to complement the brand's basic assortment aimed at the youngest. The designers focused on simple models that can be easily combined with other elements of clothing. The common denominators of the collection are utility style and a light denim shade. Care has also been taken to ensure that the trousers have elastane, which makes the denim easier and more comfortable to put on and wear. Many denim models, for both girls and boys, have been given a fashionable yet comfortable wide leg. Of the upper garments, catanas and waistcoats dominate, quite classically, providing the opportunity to create monochrome, versatile everyday looks.
